Edith Turner Custom Paintings

Edith Turner was born and raised on the Oregon coast. Early years were left with fond memories of fall trees, the sea, sandy beaches wild flowers, berries and lighthouses, all presenting vivid natural images of Oregon, memories which still inspire her work.

Turner's love for detail reflects her paintings, creating a visual style of her own. She handles the pigment with unlimited color, applying detailed strokes freely. The quick drying of acrylic allows her the freedom to capture the moment of a wild sea or the hypnotic fog receding from a majestic mountain.

Edith Turner is an art instructor for physically challenged adults, seniors, senior citizens, and children, to whom she enjoys introducing the arts. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her artwork which are in both private and corporate collections.
